Streetdirectory.com, which I believe many Singaporeans will know and is one of the most popular sites to go for directions, only give you buses run by SBS and many are shortchanged when they need to know the route used by SMRT buses. The journey as stipulated in that site is longer as expected, therefore do not save you time and money.
Gothere.sg is a site that I am very thankful for. I can say that once I was lost in the dark (when Streetdirectory.com is out), looking for directions aimlessly and Gothere.sg turns out to be that beacon of light that show me the way. (waa… very dramatic).
Though Gothere.sg is still in its infancy stage and lack of the detailed features as offered by Streetdirectory.com, nonetherelessly, you can still make your way around safely. I guess one of the positive note about Gothere.sg is that it saves you money in travelling and more on walking, therefore, on the other hand, some routes may not be feasible during rainy days. Bus services are highly recommended but may not be available in there as yet.
