Happy 2010 To One And All!
And specially to you for supporting this blog and following all my postings!
Also a special thanks to my colleague who spoke to me yesterday – telling me that she found my personal blog by doing a random search for “surveys” and she landed on my site. Guess that’s the amazing power you get from blogging so for those who are interested in becoming an online entrepreneur in 2010 – start blogging!
My Resolutions For 2010
I was thinking through of what I intend to do for 2010 and had nowhere to jot them down and what better way then to do so with this blog post. At least I “sort of” made a personal commitment to you by posting them here. So here goes:
- Debts – to clear major part of my study and tuition loan (outstanding of around $27K), take care of my brother’s medical expenses and which I hope to clear with my current salary and from the earnings with my online activities.
- Financially – I am currently working as a Financial Planner (on a fixed pay system and with a new monthly incentive scheme coming up real soon) so I would like to really make good money out from this. Time to get serious and work hard!
- Online Entrepreneurship – In 2009, I created numerous sites dealing with different genre – affiliate marketing, online retailing, home-based business, web design templates, financial planning, blog aggregator. Personally all these sites are very much under-managed. I guess in 2010, I will personally make these sites grow and make a good monthly profit out of them.
- Giving Back – I believe in the idea of giving back. Before I became independently on my own – surviving through university education and having my mum and brother in a nursing home – there was a lot of financial and spiritual help given by my church – Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and from 2010 onwards, I will be donating 10% of my online profits (my only condition – money has to be credited to my account) to the Church and also to a charitable organization – World Vision Singapore. All these donations will be done on a regular basis! And maybe I should do up a sidebar widget to keep track of my progress on these donations.
- Physically – My current weight is at 73Kg (do not laugh) at a height of 1.68m. This is not a good sign that I am healthy. A good commitment for 2010 will be to reduce this weight to around 65kg.
- Mentally – Books are good and I intend to build up my own knowledge by reading at least 30 books.
Guess I should stop at these 6 or else I will start to make up a lot of excuses why I cannot achieve at the end of 2010.
So have you personally made any resolutions and posted it somewhere? I would like to read up what you have posted (and steal a few more ideas and suggestions).
Once again! Happy 2010 to you all!
